We began class by reading a “break-up” letter that Mr. Bell found in the hallway. We then discussed how we are about to read the greatest break-up letter in world history: the Declaration of Independence.
We took some notes on the background of the Declaration of Independence (author, context, audience, and reason). We then read the Declaration and will continue to read it on Tuesday.
