Today we began the American Revolution! We started by discussing an earlier war – the French and Indian War that led to a change in the way the British dealt with their “children” (the colonies). Make sure you read over the analogy in the powerpoint slides – this is a very easy way to understand the Revolution. Under salutary neglect the British gave the colonies freedom to govern themselves and after the French and Indian War, took it away!

Grab a yellow set of Cornell notes and use the powerpoint slides behind this write-up to catch up.
